Where It Began
Ten women. Five countries. One conviction.

On International Women's Day, 8 March 2026, a call was made to ten women across Africa. Each was chosen not for a title, but for the kind of person she is: someone who thinks in generations, builds with the future in view, and shows up even when no one is watching.
A vision was shared. They were asked to join a conversation. All ten said yes.
How We Work
NovaSage Africa is building four interconnected programs. We begin with Rising Leaders: the broadest reach, the clearest early audience, the foundation everything else grows from.
Designed for early-career women and those stepping into leadership for the first time, this program builds the confidence, networks, and foundational capabilities needed to lead with consistency and purpose from day one.
Who it's for: Women aged 20 and above, in the early years of their professional journey, across any sector, who are ready to grow into their leadership.
A peer community for women who are already shaping organizations, industries, and public life, and want space to reflect, connect, and go further together.
Who it's for: Senior executives, policymakers, and established leaders who want to deepen their impact and connect with peers across the continent.
Supporting women founders with the mentorship, strategic guidance, and networks needed to turn a promising idea into real impact.
Who it's for: Women building or growing a business, at idea stage, early stage, or looking to scale.
Working with institutions to reach women who are embedded in existing systems, and give them the development, visibility, and pathways they deserve.
Who it's for: Governments, companies, and organizations that want to build meaningful, lasting women's leadership pipelines.

Governance and legal groundwork, brand voice and external presence, and the Rising Leaders Program launch.
Rising Leaders applications close and the founding cohort is selected. Partnership announcements and onboarding preparation begin.
The Rising Leaders first cohort begins. We evaluate, iterate, and begin planning Year 2 expansion.
The Origin Story
NovaSage Africa did not begin in a boardroom. It began with a question that a small group of women across Africa found themselves unable to set aside: when we see clearly that the world could be better, what is our obligation to help reshape it?
That question became a conversation. The conversation became the Founding Council. Within weeks, a structure was taking shape. Within the month, a strategy workshop was underway. NovaSage Africa was no longer an idea. It was a movement in formation, shaped from the start by ten women who chose to build rather than wait.
